What is Esso Smiles Driver Rewards programme?
Esso Smiles Driver Rewards programme is a driver's rewards programme that rewards loyal consumer (you) for spending at Esso and Feoso service stations in Hong Kong.
Where do I get a card?
Simply pick up a registration form with an Esso Smiles Driver Rewards Card ("Esso Smiles Card") at any Esso or Feoso service station in Hong Kong.
How do I register my Esso Smiles Card?
Register your Esso Smiles Card instantly through Esso App or complete the physical form and submit it at any Esso or Feoso service stations in Hong Kong. All mandatory details on the physical registration form must be completed to activate the card within 4-6 weeks.
You must successfully register your card to start earning and redeeming your Esso Smiles points for Supreme Rewards, free fuel, convenience store items, lubricant service and car wash service and Esso app-exclusive eCoupons and partners points conversion.
How does it work?
When you purchase fuel at any Esso or Feoso service station in Hong Kong with your registered Smiles Card, you earn Esso Smiles points. When you've accumulated enough points, they can be redeemed instantly for petrol, convenience store items (excluding cigarettes and alcoholic beverages), lubricant service or car wash service.
With the Esso app, you can redeem Esso Smiles rewards via app-exclusive eCoupons at Esso service stations and our partners such as HKTV Mall and ParknShop. Plus, the convenience of turning your Esso Smiles points into Asia Miles, Clubpoints or MoneyBack points.
How do I earn Esso Smiles points?
For every litre of petrol (excluding Synergy diesel) you purchase using Esso Smiles card, you will earn 10 points for Synergy Extra petrol and 15 points for Synergy Supreme+ premium petrol. For every litre of LPG you purchase using Esso Smiles card, you will earn 1 point.
How do I redeem Esso Smiles points?
Simply present your Esso Smiles Card or Esso app and inform the cashier that you would like to redeem your points for petrol or convenience store items. The required Esso Smiles points will be deducted from your account and the new balance displayed on your receipt or updated on Esso app.
You may also look out for other rewards that can be redeemed within our Esso app, such as app-exclusive eCoupons from our partners such as HKTV Mall and ParknShop. Plus, the convenience of turning your Esso Smiles points into Asia Miles, Clubpoints or MoneyBack points.
Kindly note that your Esso Smiles Card must be activated before you can earn and redeem your points. All mandatory details on the registration form must be completed to activate the card.
How can I view my Esso Smiles points balance?
You can log into our Esso app and view your point status at any time. Your points balance is also printed on your petrol receipt. Also, you can call the Esso Smiles Customer Service Centre at 3197-8188 to check your Esso Smiles points balance.
Do you have a digital rewards store?
Yes, you can redeem your Esso Smiles rewards via app-exclusive eCoupons such as HKTV Mall and ParknShop or easily convert your Esso Smiles points into Asia Miles, Clubpoints or Moneyback points to enjoy their rewards and benefits.

When will my Esso Smiles points expire?
Esso Smiles points in your Esso Smiles Driver Rewards account will not expire as long as you make at least one qualifying purchase with your Esso Smiles Card or earn Esso Smiles points within 12 months from the date the last Esso Smiles point was awarded and credited into your Esso Smiles Driver Rewards account.
What should I do if I forget to swipe my Esso Smiles Card when I purchase petrol or LPG?
Please keep your receipt and call the Esso Smiles Customer Service Centre at 3197-8188 to inform us of your qualifying petrol or LPG purchase. We will then send you the point adjustment form, which you must complete and return to us.
Can I combine my Esso Smiles points with those of my spouse/friends/relatives to redeem a reward?
No. Esso Smiles points on different Esso Smiles Cards registered on different members cannot be combined for redemption. You can combine Esso Smiles points from Esso Smiles Cards registered with your details.
If I am an existing Esso Smiles member, and I have another Esso Smiles Affinity Card, what should I do to better manage both Cards?
If your Esso Smiles Affinity Card has not yet been registered, you can add it to your existing Smiles account through the Esso app. If your new Card has already been registered, you can consolidate all your Esso Smiles points to your preferred account by submitting a card merge request here.
Alternatively, you may complete a physical form at any of our service stations to add card or request a card merge.
How do I sign up for the Esso Smiles Affinity Card?
Only individuals who receive an invitation may sign up for an Esso Smiles Affinity Card. Alternatively, you may pick up an Esso Smiles Classic card at any of our service stations to enjoy other exciting promotions that we have to offer as well!
Is there a minimum spend criteria to be eligible for the discount?
There is no minimum spend criteria as long as you make a Synergy fuel purchase at Esso and present your Esso Smiles Affinity Card before making the purchase.
How do I earn Esso Smiles points with Esso Smiles Affinity Card?
Every litre of Synergy fuel you pump at Esso service station earns you Smiles Points according to the earn rate as stated in the programme leaflet that comes with your Smiles Affinity Card. Remember to use your successfully registered Esso Smiles Affinity Card every time you make a fuel purchase to earn Esso Smiles points. Your purchase receipt will show your points earned and points balance.
Will my Esso Smiles Affinity Card expire?
We are delighted to serve you this special promotion at Esso. Should the card expire, we will send you a reminder on the expiry of the card prior to the expiry date.
What is the discount for Esso Smiles Affinity Card for Piped-In LPG Estates?
Please refer to the discount rates stated in the programme leaflet that comes with your Smiles Affinity Card for more details.

Can I enjoy Extra Esso Smiles instant fuel discount on special discount day and participate in Instant Extra Esso Smiles Points Promotion with Esso Smiles Affinity Card?
Unfortunately, the discounts and instant extra smiles points do not extend to Esso Smiles Affinity Card. You may find the earn rate and discount rates stated in your estate's programme leaflet that comes with your Smiles Affinity Card for more details.
How can I opt out from receiving promotional messages?
If your card is registered online, you can log into the Esso App, visit “My Smiles” screen and click “Account information” to select Opt Out from receiving promotional message.

My Esso Smiles Card is lost / damaged / defective. What should I do?
If you lose your Esso Smiles Card or if it is damaged or defective, please report it to the Esso Smiles Customer Service Centre at 3197-8188 during operating hours. Upon receiving your report, we will immediately block the card from use. You may get a new Esso Smiles card at any Esso or Feoso service station. We will then guide you through the process to transfer the Esso Smiles points from your lost, damaged or defective Esso Smiles card to your new Esso Smiles card.
How do I change my address or any other personal Esso Smiles account?
If your card is registered online, you can log into the Esso App and update your address or any other personal information instantly.
You can contact the Esso Smiles Customer Service Centre at 3197-8188 for assistance.
